CrossFit consists of constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensities. Each WOD (Workout of the Day) is designed to improve body composition by burning fat and building muscle. Our coaches will guide you through weight training and/or cardio exercises. The best thing about CrossFit is that anyone can do it! Every workout can be safely scaled for beginning, intermediate, and advanced athletes.
Our Pump & Burn classes are a great alternative or supplement to CrossFit. It's a one-hour class of equal amounts of strength training (Pump) and conditioning (Burn). PUMP is a total body workout that builds solid, lean muscle. An expert trainer will guide you through movements that utilize dumbbells, kettlebells, and your own bodyweight. BURN is a high-energy cardio workout that will get your heart rate up and keep it there.
Barbell Club is designed to increase your confidence and ability with barbell lifts. In a small class, you’ll receive specific feedback and expert instruction in proper technique, form, and movement. Barbell Club is perfect for anyone who wants to get more comfortable with the barbell or strengthen their competitive edge with Olympic lifts.
Learn how to eat better without dieting or feeling deprived. A qualified nutrition coach will show you how making small changes to your eating habits will lead to BIG changes in your overall health and body composition. You’ll get the education, support, and accountability you need to finally achieve your goals. Most importantly, you will establish healthy eating habits that will last a lifetime!
Compete with yourself and others to become the best version of yourself! Start with a benchmark workout and body scan and track your progress for 90 days. With support from coaches and fellow challenge participants, prepare to be amazed at how much progress you can make.

Athan is a former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger. In addition to owning and coaching at two CrossFit gyms, he currently serves as a Master Fitness Trainer for the U.S. Army. But don’t be intimidated- Athan has a big smile and a big heart. His mission in life is to help others achieve optimal health, deep human connection, and self-actualization.

Kady was voted the Best Fitness Instructor in Bastrop for 2019. She has been coaching and competing in CrossFit for over seven years. Kady is knowledgeable, encouraging, and loud (in a good way). She’s a Fit Mom who believes that strength is beauty!

Cody is the founder of Fortitude Barbell Club and Operations Manager at CrossFit Strive. With over seven years of experience in CrossFit and six years in competitive weightlifting, Cody is sometimes referred to as “the Yoda of the Barbell” due to his ability to break down and teach complex movements.

Lexi is a former gymnast who fell in love with CrossFit in 2017. After receiving her Level 1 certification, Lexi brought her passion for community and newly-achieved coaching skills back to Strive. She creates a training environment that is fun, focused, and challenging for everyone.
Certifications: CF L1, CF Mobility Certificate, CF Gymnastics Certificate, Coached volleyball, basketball and track for 6 years
Jessica is an enthusiastic coach who has a passion for health and fitness. She was a competitive, multi-sport athlete growing up. She found CrossFit in 2009 and knew it was a methodology she wanted to be a part of. Since, she has been in many competitions, and attended the CrossFit gymnastics and Mobility courses and has her CrossFit Level 1.

Rebekah was a crisis counselor for victims of domestic violence for over 15 years, which is where she learned to meet a person's emotional needs and that has now brought her to a place at Strive where she can translate those tools into CrossFit and coaching.
Certifications: Bachelor's in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Health and Fitness Management from Texas State (2020). NASM-CPT, CF L1
Sarah fell in love with fitness in 2014 after taking a weightlifting class in college. It eventually led her to Crossfit Strive, where she found home. She is passionate about evidence-based fitness, strength training, and having fun while training hard.
